As limiting as some of these stories can be, they can also be what reveals our most powerful and authentic selves. At Casa de Luz, we help you align with a healed version of yourself in the context of your stories. Your story is sacred and will be treated as such. We help you keep the pieces that nourish you and release the pieces that hold you back. We like to think of this as a sacred integration.

TELEHEALTH PRACTICE

We are an online practice which means you can take us with you where you go and be in the comfort of your own space. We have a secure online client portal that gives you access to sessions, forms, billing and reminders.

Personal growth and transformation is a sacred journey. It’s choosing to go beyond our current level of “knowing” to rework and make space for an expanded awareness. An awareness that enables peace, joy, and a deeper anchoring in the beauty of who we really are.   The human experience is filled with difficult, unexpected, and unexplainable experiences that can sometimes leave an imprint that hangs out in our “blind spot” or subconscious as we go forward in life.

After a while, certain aspects of our experience may start to feel blocked, stagnant, or like a repetitive cycle. I know how it feels to wake up feeling weighed down, limited, and confused about what’s next.   This is your higher self telling you, there’s another way. There’s more.

My approach reworks stuck energy, emotions, and patterns that hide out in the subconscious realm of who we are or who “we think” we are. It’s not about deleting but rather reworking, reprogramming, and re-aligning with a more connected expression of who we are and what we desire.

I am a client-centered and strength-based therapist with specialized training in ARC (Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, CBT, and autism support. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, LGBTQ and BIPOC individuals, veterans, and those seeking faith-based or spiritual counseling. I support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, life transitions, and career challenges. My approach integrates CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and narrative therapies, and I collaborate closely with clients to set meaningful goals and identify the most appropriate path forward. I became a therapist because I value providing a safe, non-judgmental space where people can explore their feelings and experiences. Outside of work, I enjoy participating in theater and dancing salsa.

In helping people, I have learned that being willing to look at ourselves to rediscover our
strengths, enhances us for emotional and personal growth. Working on self-confidence
(knowledge) then self-belief (action) creates self-esteem. I have discovered that there is a
theme in helping people; listening to their needs, listening to their story, hearing what they have
to say, and understanding their concerns is a very important part of helping.
